Avant A2D / REM Installation Guide with UAC Drivers (Older Square Units)

UAC drivers are required for Square A2D and REM units. These drivers are USB port specific. This means changing the port the hardware is connected to will require another driver installation.

Download complete setup in a ZIP file.   <- This contains software and all audio tracks.

Make sure NOAH is already installed.

Extract zip file, RUN SETUP AS ADMINISTRATOR.

Once install is complete, Open the Avant REM.

Software will be in “View only mode”, Click View Only.

Click File > Advanced Options…

There you’ll find the Install Drivers.

The drivers will install in the background for about a minute. Once you believe it’s complete, you can close the software, unplug and replug the USB.

The software should now be out of View Only mode and working.

*If during installation, you obtain an error from Microsoft saying drivers could not be verified, you must disable Memory Integrity in windows.
